Newbie to this Forum, and I\\'m looking for information about repair panels for the \\'57 Ranchero I\\'m considering buying.
1) the rear \\"Bed\\" floor has been unbolted and there is a \\"well\\" at the front end of the bed, just behind the cab rear panel. This well is rusted. Is there a replacement piece made that I can weld in? If so, who makes it.?
2)Is there a one piece patch panel to repair the rear quarter panel lip at the top of the wheel well, or must I buy the front and rear lower patch panels to get this piece ?
3)On the inside of the cab, behind the seat, down at the bottom of the cab rear panel just above the floor pan,on both the driver\\'s side and the passenger side it looks like originally there were a pair of rectangular panels. They are missing and this area has been fiberglassed. Looks to me as if the \\"well\\", as discussed in #1 above, filled with water, and then leaked through these missing panels I described above, thus allowing water to flood the floor pans , both rear and front. Having said all that.....are these missing panels available? I could make them , but it will be so much easier to buy them.
Thanking all on the Forum in advance, as I\\'d like to buy this Ranchero, but want to know in advance about any mine fields I\\'m about to step into.
